    Wow. I literally was coming here to try and find out if these magnetic mounts could work with this product. This is 10/10 perfect news!

    I have a magnetic mount I picked up from BestBuy (I think it's made by Bracketron or something) that will hopefully work. Not sure what the ball size is, but I will do some digging. Did you have multiple ball sizes available?

    I am also considering using the RAM PowerPlate II unit, and simply putting my existing BestBuy mount on my Dad's car - that way I can mount phones across both vehicles. Anybody used the PowerPlate II with success/failure?

    I just got lucky after eyeballing the Schosche mount. It took some digging on RamsR website to find that they did have a smaller ball with the correct threading. Good luck with yours!

    Just to confirm, when purchasing from the website, each purchase comes with two omni-directional mounts and associated hardware? Or are they unique to one side of the radio console?

    The ball is 9/16" with 1/4-20 Stud Male threaded Post Model: RAM-A-237U
    I used the RAM Double Socket Arm for 9/16"(0.56") Model: RAM-A-201U

    Installed it a few weeks ago and retrofitted a Scosche magnetic mount.
