Post is pretty dead but looking for some info on lbl. Me and my brother want to ride up there labor day weekend and ride but we both have new trucks and as much as I would love to go crazy can't bring myself to do that with less than 2000 miles... So what are some good areas to ride at . Don't mind a little mud and stuff just don't want to get into any of the awesomeness I've seen in the pics unfortunately... Pic is the truck I totalled and would have been able to enjoy the awesomeness...20180709_143413_HDR.jpg

If you download the maps from their site it will have all the marked fire roads. All the 200 roads are pretty tame and you’ll get what you’re looking for, the 300 roads are the more extreme roads that a good portion of the pics and videos of this thread were taken from.

On the 300 roads how bad are they and on the bad parts is there a bypass around the challenge? Don't mind a little difficulty just want the option to go around or back out if we're not sure .

It all depends on the recent weather and such. They are either maintained very sparsely, or not at all for the 300 roads so they change. Not many bypasses around from what I remember, but I haven't been in a couple years. Usually have/can make room to turn around if need be though.

Stock trucks with just more aggressive tires can make it on most things without issues.

    Scratches, dents, lots of squeaks.
also lots of pin stripes. If you're worried about your new paint, stay on the 200s, they are pretty well maintained. The 300s have been really rutted out in the last few years. Lifted trucks high center

I remember someone saying there's a difference in the map in circled trail markers and black/white text of the trail numbers. I know we hit a couple 300s that weren't anything like the ones near Neville Bay

How's it going guys. Just came across this thread and I'm a little surprised as to how many people have been going on these meetups. I know I've personally been going to LBL for about 2 years now and I still haven't hit everything there. LBLs such an awesome place. I'm assuming you all will be doing a meet this upcoming year correct?
