Installed Cali Raised ditch lights today. I cannot get the OEM switch to light up like the others. When I depress it, the lights come on and the switch light is lite. When I turn them off the switch will not light up. I think I have it wired right, not sure on the fuse. I added a 2 amp to 10 amp circuit wire that has spots for two fuses. Not sure what to do with this, I placed a 2 amp fuse in it and plug it into the only open spot I had. I have a very limited knowledge on electrical circuitry. Can someone please help me?

The light is supposed to turn off when the lights are off.

If you’re talking about the label illuminating with the rest of the dash lights when the headlights are on, then you need to tap into a power line on that circuit. Use a volt meter on a nearby switch. Look it up on YouTube. It’s really easy if you get a volt meter and the right parts.
