What all do I need to mount my bicycle to my truck bed?

The only accessories I currently have are a OEM tonneau and some KB Voodoo Hi Rise Bars.

I wanted to mount a set of bikes without having to remove those two accessories.

What all do I need to buy?

 

Tow hitch bike rack.

 

I have the same cover and bars... and I bought the kb voodoo bike tray and a front fork holder from Amazon. But that's just for my road bike. for my mountain bikes and fat bike, I use a hitch mounted tray (1up).

At one point I thought about getting the 1up tray for the kb high rise bars, but their tray+fork holder was way cheaper.

 

I fold open my trifold and throw 2 bikes in the back.....

 

On my bed bars, I have:

I'll likely get some KB Voodoo outboard mounts to use when my RTT is on at some point...

 

I use our rack (Victory 4x4) but I find that running Thule rails on 1x1 square tube outriggers on the rack works the best. If I need to bring 4 bikes and no RTT, I use those Rocky mounts you posted on top of the rack.

 

Do you have any issues with the handlebars sticking out too far on the side? How this set up work driving on the highway? Do the bars stick out much further than your mirrors?

 

I never really have issues. If I'm going to be on tight trails I will loosen the stem and turn the bars sideways.
