We are thorough when scouting out new places to live. How far are the wife's primary doctors? What hospitals are in network? What doctors IN those hospitals are in network? Which ERs are in network? Etc., etc.

What super sucks is the uncontrolled environment. Neither of us could have possibly stopped the two surgeons from entering the room, and thus, charging us $2,500 each. There's lots of information about this problem online, and no real solutions. It's legal and it's ridiculous.

"Hey, want to go to the strip club at lunch? Let's just swing into an OR and 'check up' on a patient to pick up a few grand first."

 

Sent an email mid week last week and got no reply.

They never replied to my 2 emails the meet before last either

Anyhow, we should be fine using the actual offroad section (since I was verbally given access to this in person in a meeting with the head of events out there before the first meet). Just going to stay off the oval track this time.

Yea, that sucks and so damn stupid. I have heard of people being charged double medication when they were only given one of something, so anytime in the future if I am in a hospital. I will keep a notebook of every single thing administered or done medical wise and who came in and spoke with me and for how long. Then get an itemized bill at the end so I can double check every single thing because people in the end are extremely stupid and don't care.

 

Off Topic but I paid the preacher, which is an old friend in $200.00 dollars in pennies, had to order them from the bank. There were in boxes rolled and I broke them down and put all them in antique cloth money bags. They have been sitting by his fireplace since 2007.

- Wife administered medication to lower thyroid levels (so the iodine reacts more significantly)
- Testing, surgery, very stressful recovery with complications, medication regimen started
- Heads back to the hospital for blood work and test, gets administered medication (two appointments)
- Third appointment we find out they've been giving her medication to lower her thyroid levels... TO PREP FOR A SURGERY SHE ALREADY HAD.

READ THE FUCKING CHART, MY GUY.

Her levels were already dangerously low from surgery less than a week prior... with a big frankenscar across her neck... and bandages.

 

Just cause I wanted to see the look when we all carried them in. I didn't have too.

 

What's name of this person? That's what they (security) were asking. they said whomever was in charge of the area and event said no one was ever given permission.

 

Inquiring minds want to know.

 

Yep, read the damn chart, but half the time people don't even remember the password that they just changed to be able to access the chart... so I don't have much hope for people.
