I’m new to the thread and looking for a high quality lift to fit 33”-35”. I do a lot of off-roading and rock climbing and want minimal to no rub ever. I don’t want to spend money on Kings but I don’t want dirt cheap. I was thinking icon maybe stage 5-6 or old man emu any help is appreciated! This is my daily driver so superior ride quality and superior off road performance is what I want.

You can fit both of those tires with no lift. Either way, lift or no lift, you’re going to have to cut plastic and chop the cab mount. I’ve had OME/Bilsteins and now Kings. There is no “superior ride” quality unless you buy a superior product.

There’s a shit ton of threads on here for this topic and a whole section on lifts.

You will have to regear for 35s. I just went from stock 30s up to 32s and I can feel the bogging at highway cruising speeds.

I have 34s. Bilstein 6112/5160. You WILL need to CMC, beat back pinch weld, trim plastic. No way around it. Doesn't matter what suspension you buy, you always want to make sure your tires will clear at full compression

Its not a Mercedes. I removed my sway bar so I have to really take it slow around corners, 34s really suck out the power but I'm used to it. Don't expect it to get up and go like it does on OEM tires. I'll probably re-gear next tax season or get the OV tune at least. Off road it works well, don't really have anything to compare it to. The shocks haven't snapped in half yet so that's a good sign.

That's good for stop and go I find that I don't have to hit the brakes as much do to the bogging. Braking suffered thoug.

Kings are not as expensive as people think they are.

Icons have a lot of problems, they tend to leak and have terrible customer service. They have the most complain threads in this forum. They are also a digressive shock which a lot do not like. Most all other shocks are progressive.

    I would call Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road

    There are a ton of manufacturers;

    King
    ADS
    Fox
    Icon
    OME
    Toytec
    Bilstein

    And more.

Do a search for people running 33s and 35s to get an idea of what they did.

As others have said you will have to do some cutting, welding, hammering, and new UCA for adjustments
