    Still interested but not sure I need to right now since I don't have anything that needs extra battery juice. Plus, I have not purchased anything but that can be easily fixed. Willing to help out and see what it takes. Just don't have any tools to help you. Hopefully @Man of Steel TRD will chime in as I know he has done some wiring and probably has more knowledge.

    No worries. Your more than welcome to come watch/help or laugh at.
    Should be relatively straight forward. Remove, make ,replaced and repet.

    No, I decided to solder.

    We never decided so I just thought I would give it a shot. I'm still down to help everyone out though it will be good to have one of us there that have done it.

    I don't know if the 2nd gens are the same but this is where I grounded the engine and the battery to the frame. Very easy to get to from the drivers wheel well. I had to go to Ace Hardware to get a longer M8 x 1.25 bolt.

    No different name. No my z wasn’t boosted. That might have been the next step. However I got a service dog and there just wasn’t enough room for him. Still miss that car at times.

    I had a 90 300zx back in the day. I still try to keep my eyes open for another one. Never been able to find it.

    @Man of Steel TRD
    Could you explain your process in a bit more detail? Please! I know 2ncd gen have power wire from alternator to fuse box to battery. Did you upgrade this wire too? Did you take a photo or could you describe where the engine ground is connected to the engine?

    I'm going to do this soon. First I am going to take my battery and fuse box out to trace my wires, but information gathering first.
    If you did replace the fuse box wires, it looks like you used 1 gauge? I've read others had trouble fitting that large of gauge? anyways lots of questions. Any guidance or break downs on the process would be appreciated.

    Happy Holidays.

    His pics are at the top of the page. But hopefully he'll chime in.
    I dose look like he ran a power wire from the alt to the battery. But it looks like the stock wire is on there probably going to the fuse box. Which is what I did also.

    Yeah, you don't replace the wire running into the fuse box, you just run the bigger wire strait from the alternator directly to the positive post on the battery.

    Oh and @Taco-Obsessed I used zero guage wire for my big 3.

    Yes. I believe that it was enough and some extra.
