    They don't make a 265/75/16 C rated Lt tire...!!
    So it's either SL (44 lbs) or LT (55 lbs)....
    The SL isn't that good..?
    We're talking 85% highway and rest off-road...?

    Weight, ply's and the LT have a slghtly deeper tread; the tread depth difference is like 1 or 2/32 or something more for the LT. Someone else can google it for the exact number. Unless you wheel in an area with puncture hazards, LT on a taco is overkill imo. SL has the weight ratings for a midsize truck covered.

    The LTs definitely have more tread depth (3/32) but they are also far heavier and that’s too much of a drawback for me. Like Dangle I think E rated tires are overkill for our trucks unless you are a rock crawler. Mine are still in the garage until I get time to get them mounted but I’m pleasantly surprised. I would not have bought these tires but for all the TW members recommendations and I have zero regrets after seeing them in person.
