Forgot to take measurements pre-lift.:bananadead: Went with the third clip setting and Icon progressive add a leaf.
ECGS bushing done as well. Something tells me I should have went ahead and got Dakars and set the front to the fifth setting. Time will tell.

What happened to me. If you start adding weight in the rear you may wanna change out the leafs. I’d suggest Icon RXT leaf pack vs Dakar’s imo, extra money but ride is better.

I'd like to ride in a truck with the Icon pack to see how its better, as I have the heavy Dakar setup and its great. It's firmer then the stock OR leafs, but rides better for sure.

Probably a very vague post about the rxt leaf pack...sorry. For how I use my truck it’s a better option.

No overload leafs for the rxt leaf, so it’ll be a better ride on the streets, but comes to a small costs that you can’t hold weight as well as the OME heavy pack. If we’re talking about an empty bed all day and do the occasional camping trip, towing, loading up bed etc and just need the lift to match the front, RXT leaf pack all day. 400lbs in my bed made my rear squat .75”. I have option 3 on my rxt pack. So my rear went from (ground to fender) 39.75” to 39” my fronts is 38.25”.

i know some may say well just get the medium pack, but for me almost everyone upgrades their medium pack once they start to load their bed up and OME pack is cursed by the squeaking even after the leaf liners and squeak pads update.

If your an overlander or carry a constant 600lbs in your bed, Dakar is for you. For the almost 90% who just use this as a van and do occasional trips RXT is most likely a better choice.

Did the bushing and finally got the 6112's in and 5160's in the back. The passenger side took half hour to do but the driver involved doing the bushing which took longer..
Removing the skid plate and disconnecting the sway bar was a must for removing the cv
shaft. Everything came out great. I went with 2/3 for .50" over stock height, and after it settled was half inch higher which was what I was looking for. The ride was obviously better in every way over the skinny stock Bilsteins. Smooth yet firm, soaks up speed bumps noticeably better by a lot. This is a major improvement over the stock crappy setup it came with. Alignment this Friday. Update, went and got Firestones lifetime alignment which btw can also be done at Wheel works and Tires Plus too. The alignment was off as expected but I'm sure some of that was already off spec before I even did the coil over work. Drives much better than before. Going back in six months and I'll give them my specs next time..

Where did you get the press adapters for compressing the spring? Did you make them?

I didn't like the one I bought so I made this to fit my 20 ton press. I'm very pleased in how it works. I had to wait for my 6112's to arrive from being back ordered so I had time to fab the spring compressor. I've done five sets of coil overs so far and it works great. Based on the same principle of how the vehicles presses on them so it's safe to use and is much easier on the coil.

So are these still on national back order? I would love to jump on a set, but seems like what's on hand and available are the 2nd gen 6112s. Are the 2nd gen 6112's valved differently? I know the # of clips changed.

I finally received mine a few days ago after ordering very early March. Not sure if Bilstein produced enough to completely get off backorder or not...

Finally received my 3gen 6112’s yesterday! It only took 201 days to get them but worth the wait! However as I’m slowly taking them out of the box I notice something.. I’m missing the coils! This makes me question if I should’ve gone with icon.
