Picking up a new 2018 SR5 tomorrow morning!

First thing I want to do is install a leveling kit and then fit 285/75/16's underneath.

It has been recommended to me that the biggest I go is 265/75/16 without investing in suspension.

Running on the stock Tacoma rims 16x7.

I have been told without suspension 33 in tires will be very tight, I've seen a few videos online of people successfully installing them.

Hoping for feedback and tips on this process. I live in Denver so will be on trails and the roads out here are bumpy, but nothing wild and crazy. No bouldering and extreme trails. I like the mean look of this setup so hoping to make it work.

Common wisdom says a CMC chop and a pinch weld beat down is required on a Tacoma to fit 285’s without rubbing.

    255 85 16 is a full 33"

On OE wheels, no lift, cut or rub.

Do that before the 'level'. You might choose to forgo that.
