Been driving Toyotas exclusively since 1979....that year was the "lemon year" for trannys and had 2 replaced. Then I had a 84', a '90, a '96 (my first new one!!!!). I purchased a Tundra last year to pull a horse trailer (I ride endurance horses & got a money pit of my own, instead of letting people pay me to ride theirs. What WAS I thinking?) A year later I sold trailer & horse, and just this week traded in my Tundra ( someone is going to get a very cool well maintained truck with a top of the line ARE topper) for a 2018 Tacoma double cab 6' bed. IN blue. Now to start the topper process all over again.
Got the glass coat package but in inspecting it yesterday prior to pick up noticed some spots. Turns out their brand new detailer put on the glass coat with water spots on the truck (or so they said). So I'll get it today once they fix it.
I'm a little trepidatious as my Tundra started having 1/2" spots of paint lifting off the hood, and Toyota kind gave e the runaround & it did not get resolved in the 2 months they've known about it. I got disgusted & said here, YOU take it & deal with it. Got KBB top price on my tradein. Pics to follow!
