Only thing I read is like December? I thought they got 5 year contracts

 

I thought 3 seasons, expecting 12 episodes this season

 

I thought the same. I remember reading they signed 3 year contracts with Amazon. Not sure if they have extended or not. Hoping for a season 3. Been too long. I should go back and watch season 1 and 2 again in preparation.

 

I saw a video about some Season 3 bloopers or something. I know they signed on for 3 seasons, pretty sure they wanted to make sure the series would work since the first season was meh, second season was great. So once Amazon sees how this season is I bet they order another few seasons

 

I just hope they continue producing new seasons somewhere. With as banged up as they got last season, it made me realize how much older they have gotten since top gear started.

 

Yeah, there's a reason that Hammond is doing all of the dangerous stuff these days. The other two are a pair of old men now, and even Hammond's no spring chicken. The mileage is definitely showing on all three of them, but they're still funny as hell together. Just stick them in some cars and let them do their thing.

 

They could just bring in some young gun as a bit and have him do the "dangerous" stuff

 

I like the idea of a long turnover, but honestly I don't know if I would watch the show without Jeremy

 

I feel as though anybody else that they brought in wouldn't have the same chemistry, either.

They make chemistry- there's gotta be someone off set that they're familiar with, young, with car knowledge and possibly same background as them

 

I hope they can go a couple more seasons. They are just now starting to find their groove.

I hope they have a better special for season 3. I’m one of those viewers that really only cares about the special. The dune buggy one was a lot of fun but the “hauling fish” episode from season 2 was lame.

 

If you play Jeremy, your only tools are in a box of hammers. If you’re in last place, the only in-game music that plays is Genesis.

And if you play James, you come in last and some item in your vehicle stops working halfway through the race. Other players get to randomly select which item they’re sabotaging.

 

A dildo randomly flies into the cab at some point.
