Needs some Help this has taken me abt 2 months 2 finally find a deal that no one is willing 2 match atleast here in SoCal.
    6500 down with 700 a month.
The dealer still hasnt received the truck.
What im trying 2 do since they know the exact truck they are getting and honestly the accessories it has are some i was actually trying 2 purchase myself on the side. Seems like they are throwing them in for free. Since the other dealers have Pros with 0 accessories. And only one was willing 2 match it. But again they didnt have any accessories on it.
I just want to lock in the price they told me but they said i cant sign for anything until the truck arrives.
    Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    Form follows function
Focus on final price and apr. they can play around the monthly payment by changing number of payments. Be wary that they may give you a better price with the caveat of financing through them at a much less favorable APR. good luck 2 u

The less accessories on the pro the better, money wise. You don’t want to finance the over priced accessories.) Don’t expect room for negotiations on a pro. As far as locking in the price, good luck. If you don’t buy it, someone else will for whatever markup they have. Mine did not have a markup fortunately.

700 a month for 6 years with 6500 down was the best ive found here in California. Only. One other dealer was willing 2 match that but the pro they had didnt have any accessories.

I want to buy it but they wont get it until maybe Tommorow or until the 21st. What i was trying 2 do was go tommorow and some how have it reserved for me at that price whenever they get it. Basicly just pick up my truck.

doing the math that comes out to about $57K....

IMO, You'd be better off getting a OR or Sport and dumping a nice suspension, wheels, and tires into the loan from their accessories dept for far less money.

Dude take a step aside and analyze your situation. A few Questions

have they ran your credit to promise you a $700 payment? They make whatever payment you need in order to sell you the car but beware bc that will def screw you over on the long run

What are the stipulations on their promised price and monthly payments?

Are they just blowing smoke up your a$$ and telling you that it comes with accessories at what you think are free of charge just to keep you on the hook?

Have you gotten pre-approved at a separate bank for the amount of the vehicle?

Don’t go in there blindfolded with $6,500 cash and no backup plan, get pre-approved for the loan so can have some options, be ready to walk away from the vehicle no matter how much you like it.

The you’re thinking right know, they’ll screw you over bc you want that specific no matter what.

$6.5k down..$700 a month?? That raises red flags even for me..and I barely know shit about financing etc. That sounds like you may need to walk away man, unless that truck is 100% secured and you've seen the truck in person. It does sound like they are blowing smoke up your ass. Like it's been said..take a step back and re look at things. If you really have your heart set on a Pro,you may need to look way outside where you have, make a few calls. Be patient. Or,go with an OR,add those things on later.

Wow 700 a month? Add in the down payment and that's about 57k, that's insane. I'd pass on that, payments get old quick, nevermind a $700 one.

    That’s like 56k for a 45k truck????

Why don’t you contact out of state dealers and save yourself 10k in the process- jeez 56k for a taco?

    $700 is my mortgage.

My opinion is that anyone is out of their mind to finance a vehicle let alone one that expensive.

Unless you can afford to pay cash you can’t afford it.

Got mine certified used. Guess the kid that bought it came back in crying 1000 miles and a month later, took a hug hit trading it back in. Already had a 3in lift tires, predator steps, TRD intake and catback, and bed mat. 45k with 100k/10 year bumper to bumper and 5 years service. There is a god.

Have you looked into what your insurance would be on a pro to go with that quoted 700$ a month payment?

700 a month x 60 months plus $6500 down is $48,500 all in. Sounds about right.

    What am I missing?

    6 years (72 months) @ $700 is $50,400 plus the $6,500 down - $57K
