I would be interested as well for my 05. But if no group buy then I will just accept the 10% and buy in September.

Question? Is this IFS compatible with BAMF LCA skids? Or will they interfere with each other?

Unfortunately I can't say if they would or not. Haven't tested it, or heard of a customer running that combo.

I spent an afternoon reading through this thread to get excited about how these looked on the 3rd gens, and get an idea about the installation process and any issues found along the way. It seems a few people stumbled issues with the spacers, how they fit, and the gap they left between the skid and the bumper.

Some folks were trimming their spacers to get a closer fit, but has anyone tried or thought about using a stack of washers instead of the spacers? It's essentially the same as trimming the spacers, but you don't run the risk of trimming too far, or not enough and having to go back. It's essentially a select-a-size based on the number of washers you use. Does this seem like a terrible idea?

I wouldn't say its an issue just peoples preference. If you are taking your truck off road the body will flex or if you hit something. The gap is intended to keep the skid plate from making contact with the bumper valance.

    Just doing the sale.

Hey Guys, Tuff here, .... I've been looking at getting a skid plate. Debating between OEM (Toyota)TRD skid or this ONE (lookz BadAzz) .. suggestions ? My question with getting THIS skid plate is: How far back does it reach. Is it long enough for the (back end of skid plate) to reach the front cross member or not? Any pictures showing this (up on a lift) if anyone has em, (just wondering :notsure:) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again guyz :thumbsup: ... IG: "Tuff1833"

This style doesn’t go any further back than OEM. It does extend forward to the bottom edge of the bumper and is much thicker than the OEM sheetmetal.
