Have had WT in mine since I bought it (2011, purchased in 2014). They take a beating and clean up like new every time.

I think WT would be the ideal mats, if anything, for the reputation

OEM all weather should solve your problem. No issues with mine.

I have no experience with the OEM carpet ones.

    LS1 swap with nitros.
Lettuce deliberate... as the sandwich would be quite tasty

OP - I have WT in my Taco and love them.

I've got the huskys in my truck. I work construction and i am constantly trekking dirt/mud and whatever into the truck. They clean up good as new and contain any liquids, usually melted snow. +1 for the husky mats!

I have the weathertechs.... They work and fit as advertised. I rubbed one spot raw where my heel always is. Didn't go through or anything, just a marked spot.

These work good, but I'd try the huskies next time..... just to compare.

I’ve seen people put holes not only through the factory carpeted mats but also the entire floor carpet from this. Do you really need that much pressure on your feet when driving? Personally I don’t get it. Not sure if people get tensed up or are moving that much or what? Also it’s usually not right near the foot rest. It’s usually lower more towards the driver and a little closer to the brake.

Weathertech does not make matts for 3rd gens. Only liners.

I prefer the husky liners over weather tech hands-down. I had them both at one time before deciding and the texture and functionality is much better with the Huskies.
