So, I'm trying to install a Putco tailgate lightbar and the installation demonstration is done on a F-150, and the wiring colors are way different than the Tacoma. I want to hard-wire the lightbar harness under the bumper with T-taps, rather than having the plugged into the 4-pin plug.

Does anyone have a diagram of the wire color code for the 7-pin connector on the 2018 Tacoma. Evidently, the color code changes from year to year so I need 2018 specifically. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    What I know:

The Tacoma wires behind the connector are:
    Green
    Dark Blue
    Sky Blue
    Purple
    White
    Black
White w/Black stripe - (Thickest wire)

    The Putco Harness:
    Black - Ground
    Brown - Running Lamps
    Yellow - Left Stop Turn
    Green - Right Stop Turn
    White - Reverse

Image 2: My 4-pin cover on the truck, matching this tells me what the harness wires are for. Problem is, there's no way of seeing what color wires from the Tacoma go to those 4 positions without literally tearing the connector completely apart, and I'm not doing that.

So after looking at this again, I noticed the 7-pin connector cover on my truck as well....

Went under the truck again, and according to the diagram, (if I have the positions right which I think I do) then I now know this:

Top Pin : Purple - Left Stop Turn
Bottom Pin: Sky Blue - Right Stop Turn
Top Left: White w/Black Stripe - Negative
Bottom Left: Black - Electric Brakes
Top Right: Green - Running Lamps
Bottom Right: Dark Blue - Positive
    Middle: Reverse (back up lights)

So on the lightbar harness this would mean:

    Ground Black --- ???
Brown - Running Lamps to Tacoma Green
Yellow - Left Stop Turn to Tacoma Purple
Green - Right Stop Turn to Tacoma Sky Blue
White - Reverse to Tacoma White (middle)

So where does the harness Ground go to on the Tacoma?

Would the Ground go to the Negative (White/w Black Stripe - Top Left) ?

As a ford guy who's done this I took the ground to a chassis ground that was right by the plug.
