Im trying to troubleshoot a problem with my 4LO not engaging when in 4HI. I was reading another topic that talked about removing the transfer shift actuator and manually popping the case into 4LO. I removed all three 12mm Bolts that hold the actuator onto the case and tried pulling it off but had no luck. I didnt want to yank on it too hard, I assume theres something that im not doing which will allow me to free the actuator from the rod that goes into the transfer case (So that I can manually push/pull on the rod to adjust the gearing). Do I have to possibly disassemble the actuator while its on the case still and remove some sort of washer/nut thats holding it in place?
