OP did you find brackets that raise the reinforcement bar under the front bumper yet? I might have a set at home since my truck came with a body lift on it. It’s a long shot, but I don’t throw anything away so there’s a chance I could dig it up...

Glad you’re saving this Tacoma! I’ll be watching your progress

Off topic: do you know anything about the rubber carpet replacement? I’ve never seen it before and I’m interested

I so wish it was just me not reading that card on the visor lol thanks for checking though ecause you never know. Lol

Thanks bro, they got a little gap between the body and the top of the floor on two but i think i just need ti move them around and resecure. Decision is do i color match them silver or paint the truck black. They are textured which i dont care for, but oh well. S1000rr is the best bike ive ever owned. Just got those turn signals in today!
Yes it appears many have had issues. But ive been reading through the threads on the foruks and have new hope with things other have done to get the shaft and gear in the actuator aligned properly. Sonwhen the new one comes in ill jave abother go at it. I dont wanna take it to the dealer and be defeated.
    Thanks for the support!

I got them off right now so i dont have any issues with safety check, then ill throw them back on, know any good techniques to getting these thiusand pound wheels on by yourself? It was tough last time.

Hey if you have them and can find them i just need to compensate for the 2 inch body lift. Ley me know id love to take em off your hands. I took the original brackets that ccv were bent to a buddy who works in a shop with a forge and qe heated them up then bent them back into place the best we good. Old school anvil and hammer style lol. They mount up, but id rather have somthing nicer and i think tbe brackets they have bring the reinforcement bar up more like 3 inches instead of two. So everything is really tight! Let me know bro, i appreciate that!

No this is my first double cab and i never noticed the rubber instead of carpet till i spent 6 hours cleaning the wrecked inside of this truck. I think carpet is nicer, but in my case thank god it was rubber so all the mystery fluids and sand werent absorbed. Lol were you trying to change to carpet on yours? Im sure you could find a shop to do somthijg like that who replaces carpet on other vehicles.

Try a jack maybe for the heavy ass wheels? Or a second person to help.

Just noticed you have that pretty rare full plastic floor covering, imagine if it was that dirty and carpet.....

Ok guys been a bit working on this truck and other projects she us now driving and legal. I probably should replace the stock wheels since they shimmy after 60 they are old probably unbalanced 1 tire is a different kind so not suprised lol
Today was a pivotal day because i finally fixed the damn 4x4! Went through a pain with it because honestly no one really explains the transfer case actuator replacement well. Easy ass job if you do a few things correctly. Which i didnt do. So i will post what i did here.
Heres the truck as it sits now. Still needs a paint job and some other minor things. Oh and the not si minor rear main seal leak. 800 bucks at the dealer. I may opt for them to do it and call it good!
