Going big or going home right off the bat.. I made the hood myself. 3k and 12k 2x2 twill, fiberglass mold, and resin infusion. Guestimate on weight is about 10lbs (I'll update when I get an accurate measurement) pt. 1

    Pt. 2
As it sits, needs some prep then off to get a clear coat. Had a few issues with it but that's okay because they were all little things that were my fault and I now know how to fix for next time. I'm happy with how it turned out so far

Stupid beginner's mistake from one of my first couple times wheeling. Off camber trail, dirt looked dry so I thought I could go high side to get past the cut end of a fallen tree. Dirt was only dry on the surface, slid from the fender to the end of the cab along the tree, drove away for the rest. Shoulda just turned around but I learned the hard way lol :anonymous:

Why do you have an oil cooler mounted outside the grill?

As james said.. JDM af bro. Also they work off of airflow and that's a cheap shit one so that's the most efficient way to make it work as long as you're willing to deal with the ugliness and stares. It's currently no longer on the truck as i have a much better setup for it sitting in the garage and can do the CF stuff now. So i'm probably gonna mount the new one behind the grill and make some ducting or something

Had a misfire so over the weekend I did all new ignition coils and spark plugs while I was at it. Happened to have a few titanium bolts laying around that matched the ignition coil bolts so I replaced the rusty old ones. M6x1 x 25mm bolt and M6 washer. Sourced at 'ti64', not tried and true for me yet but quality stuff from what I've used so far. Great improvement in looks and corrosion resistance that is necessary for me here in NJ winters

As for torque specs, I didn't use any. Kinda have to just find that sweet spot that isn't too tight or risking stripping the threads of the valve cover but is enough to keep the ignition coil in place and sealed well. Also on the ti64 website they have a molybdenum paste to use as anti seize and to prevent galling. No page for it but it's at the bottom when looking at bolt lengths. Necessary imo because the valve cover metal the bolt is being wrenched into is soft and it's not worth saving the few dollars/mins to not do this right.

Also did a clear coat on the hood. Acid rain type shit from all the limestone on the east coast was messing with the epoxy and was tough to get off. Hopefully its all good now

LSK boxed UCAs and ADS 2.5 RR with comp. adjusters
Tough to fit the reservoirs with the boxed UCAs but I got it. Went into more detail on a post in the ADS thread for reference to the fitment. Also did a home alignment which was surprisingly easy. I'm convinced you can't get a bad caster angle with these UCAs. Got 3.75° so the wheel is forward enough the cmc isn't really necessary with 33s and aftermarket wheels so far, that or I haven't hit anything hard enough lol
