for fuel pressure get a fuel pressure gauge from a auto parts store(free loaner tools) and disconnect the line from your fuel rail, put the gauge in series and turn the key on, I do not know the spec you would have to look that up.
For engine compression same deal get a compression tester from auto parts store loaner tools, remove 1 spark plug and crank engine approx 5 seconds, if memory serves the first jump of the needle should be 1/2 the pressure after a few seconds, do that for all cylinders 1 spark plug hole at a time and record your numbers to see if any are drastically different.

There can be problems with fuel line restrictions, have you check the starter is getting the amprage it needs? Ive replaced starters that had internal problems and sou ded fine bit couldnt draw the full amperage because of internal problems.

The rule for engines is they need fuel/air/compression/spark/starting power. Rule the easier stuff out such as fuel pressure and starter issues and engine compression, i dont know that engine but assume its got a distributer and you have checked each plug has spark.
