Took the 250 and surfboard Sat only to run into one of the biggest classic rail events. A serious ton of people. I usually don't use whip flags and paddle tires there when not crowded. Even so I didn't ride for very long due to over crowding and a good chance for collisions. Even with a flag on a bike will do you no good going down steep dunes if the guy in the buggy is going up.

Anyway it was a good test run for the new tranny update, leaving here in WLA it's up hill all the way to Pismo. To manually drive this thing on long distance with hills and grades is demanding on the throttle. With the new update the trans holds it's gears but it's still a slush box 5/6 gear. I'm sure having the surfboard on top not only kills mileage but was noisier than a mother fucker once you hit 80 mph or higher. The wind resistance is pretty gnarly along with the noise.

Took the racks off this morning and will use the bed for now on for the surfboard. Only thing is when I'm working with all the equipment in the back it will be at window height. I guess roll up a towel use it between the board and window and hope for the best.

Got some quick vids of yesterdays event.
