I posted this in the 3rd gen section but I figured i may get good responses here too...

So mama let me buy a plasma cutter and it's abouttime for me to go to town on skid plates. My plan is to rebuild the transmission cross member to make it tucked up as high as possible, reroute the exhaust and get as close to flat belly skids as possible.

I want to go frame rail to frame rail and as far forward as I can and back to the rear of the transfer case with skid plates but I'm somewhat concerned about the cooling of the driveline... Transmission and transfer case. Anyone with experience in flat belly skids think it would be an issue? The truck is not only my toy but of course a daily driver.
