yeah but 10-11 hours in the oven post stall at 240*?... that brisket will be 230-240* internal temp...

I could see 190-200* oven temp but that review just jumped out at me.

unless he meant in the oven for a total of 10-11 hours (including the 7 hours smoked) which would actually make sense.

This is an interesting alternative; cow share! The idea is to specify what cuts tou want and when all the parts of a cow have been selected they process it and send you what you wanted. I haven't tried it, but it is intriguing.

    A NOTE ON SHIPPING:

We do not ship due to the carbon foot print and all the packaging material that is needed for delivery. We also want you to support your local producers when possible. If you purchase a half or whole steer we recommend you visit us here at the ranch and stay for a day to then take your share. Contact us for any additional information.

It's like only spraying 90% of an aerosol can of CFC's into the air... saving that last 10% means the 90% you did isn't as bad.... :D

but I guess it probably would add up a little, just funny how it's called out.

Never saw this before. Very cool. Part we had a hard time with when we did this among some friends was everyone wanted the same stuff and no one wanted 200lbs of ground beef lol.

Industrial farming is a major environmental polluter and actually in the US the #1 source of water contamination.

Small grassfed operations are not significant contributors to climate change.

I’m about the same, you’d have to trim some fat off my brisket.

I just had a burger, with a few ears of sweet corn. I did fish for a few hours, so it’s probably all a wash for today.
