    Excellent roll upon the in's and out's for the use and application of the VA loan. I noticed if you don't have the service connected disability the fee's and interest may be higher than the conventional loan so long as you have a down payment. Great post.

    If you use Navy Federal's Realty Plus program they will cut you a rebate check even if you don't finance your mortgage with them. I think I ended up receiving around $1,500 from it.

    USAA has a similar program. Use their realtor and you get a kickback.

    For the second house elected not to, since VA adds another layer of stuff WRT to inspections related holdups. Glad we did the first house on VA, though, wouldn't have the second house if we didn't VA the first.
