Hey guys. So my wife and I will be moving down to Utah here in a couple days from Idaho. We are going to be living in American Fork for a while. I am trying to find out where I can go around that area to shoot. Any range recommendations would be good but I was also looking for BLM land in the area to go shooting on for when I don't want to go to the range

 

I like to go out here. It's a fairly large area you can shoot in.

 

Anyone have any connections to a business in Logan? That’ll look a college kid up with a decent job?

Know anyone looking for a 1st gen double cab TRD? It's squeaky clean, mechanically perfect (EVERYTHING works including 4WD and rear locker), cosmetically great outside and excellent inside. ARB front bumper and Leer shell, brand new Geolanders on new Tacoma wheels, 157k miles. Works perfect as-is, and is an absolute prime candidate for an offroad build.

Spread the word and message me if you're interested. Just looking for a fair price, thought I'd reach out to you guys before it hits KSL.

Thanks man, someone's going to love this thing. I drove an '01 like this for years, it was nice but had all sorts of quirks and rattles etc. This thing is amazingly right and tight.

 

My buddies and I always go out past eagle mountain, there is a big valley out there where you can just drive around and find money spots. There are a few places in the Ut County valley on the west side (up in the "mountain") behind Saratoga Springs but they're always busy as hell. Shoot me a PM if you want some help or want to shoot sometime.

 

I would also recommend the "Get Some Guns" range in Orem. Quiet as can be on Sunday mornings, and the A/C is nice and chilly for those summer days when it's hot as dick outside. I'm usually the only person there when I go.

I propose we have an initial TW-Utah meetup on this Friday, Aug 24th at 6 at the Bohemian Brewery in Midvale. They were the one with the biggest parking lot I could find that was an acceptable commute for most. The owner is also a super cool dude, so I may be able to get us a bit of reserved parking (in the gravel lot of course since we are truck people.)
