I have OME. It’s fine. For a while. Better than Billies. Not sure I’ll do Kings. Gears or cooled seats are higher on my list of mods.

I’ve only had cooper and Toyos since joining TW. Toyos>Cooper forever.

Live in Cali for 24 years. I'm finally starting to realize flag is expensive, for az. But we paid less for a 4 bed house on 2.5 acres than my buddy did in Cali for a 1100 sqft 2 bed apartment

Well Cali is retarded an even worse than here. But looks at houses just about anywhere in the valley that's similar to the price you paid here an you get almost 2x the house.

So I met Ryan once and he seemed like a nice guy, but, if things don't work out, my buddy is apparently interested. IMG_2806.jpg

No. I'm going to take it out and the guy at the shop is going to for me and give me a quick lesson on it.

Sounds like you were working at a much larger operation. You probably had to deal a lot more issues with employees and customers. I guess I am lucky in that regard, I only have 6 employees right now. I will need to hire another driver in the fall, but onsite I'm the operator/dispacther/operations/accounting person. I have a girl who works in the office with me, but she comes in at 7 and leaves around 1 or 2. The mornings are a little nutty right now because everyone is trying to get in front of the heat. I have to load my trucks and customer trucks throughout the day so its a lot of jumping inside and out which is a bit of a bummer in the heat.

As far as yard/shop trucks go... Fords. We have always had Fords as yard trucks. When my pops first started up we wanted to figure out what kind of trucks we should get. We watched trucks pull in the yard for loading: "You drive a Ford F-150 and you would like me to load a 1.5 ton pallet of pavers and 3, 94 pounds bags of Portland cement in the bed along with all your tools and supplies???". No matter how much we warned them that it wasn't a good idea, it didn't matter. They could always convince themselves that they could handle more weight. It was like that all day, everyday. My dad always said "these guys are trying to fit 5 pounds of shit in a 2 pound bag." which was true. We figured that we could learn something from it. We started a little spreadsheet, we would ask people what they were driving, what year, and how many miles they had on the vehicle. Then we would note how much we were loading on the truck, or on the trailer behind the truck and we would document it on the spreadsheet. What started out as a little experiment, resulted in a sample size of over 2,000 vehicles. From that we saw a disproportionate number of Fords to Dodges or Chevys. Chevys were 2 and Dodge was number 3. More high mileage Fords came through, towing heavier trailers, and the owners of the 200k and 300k mile Fords and Chevys reported the fewest problems over Dodges, with the Fords seeming to be the least problematic. So that's what we went with.... Now I drive a Tacoma, a Professional TuRD model. I love it.

MT stuff, RTT stuff, the usual.
@Nitori did you go under contract with DRH? Is it a new build or a spec (basically are you having it made, or buying on that they built and is already ready)?
