I know this is a really old thread, but @SurfInferno , are you still spearfishing? If so, how's that going?

I've been spearfishing since I was small, but never got into it with the proper gear until about 4 years ago. Since then, I've been going as often as I can, which is almost every weekend for me. It's what I use my Tacoma for. Hauling all of my gear, ice, kayaks, etc. I guess I'm pretty hardcore about it.

It's been only freediving for me and I alternate going for pelagics and reef fish. I prefer the reef hunting since it's more engaging and technical. I shoot a variety of guns, but lately I've been using invert roller guns I built. They've been very accurate and powerful for me. Curious to hear progress updates or anyone else still or getting into the sport.

I got a job in Colorado so spear fishing out here has changed to duck hunting. I still fly back a few times a year to spear and hang out with family though. Got my record fish just before moving which made it that much harder. 120lb bluefin tuna
