A long time ago I saw this great thread where someone added USB charging ports to the doors.

I had the panels off installing sound deadner and OEM plus speakers, and took the opportunity to drill out and install these chargers.

Came out great, now I’m trying to figure out what to splice them to in the switch.
Anyone know, or have that thread saved?

The only power you could used in the door is the power window, that won’t be hard to figure out. But I’d personally run a new power wire into the door from the fuse box.

    Nah- so not needed.
The other thread had it, I’m just looking for the pinouts.

Sorry looks like I just have info for front doors.
Shouldn’t be hard to find, pop the connector off and check with a multimeter. There should be a dedicated ground, and an ignition switched 12v in there.

    That’s what i figured

No multimeter, if I can find a ground I can test with a light

Doesn’t have the traditional white wire/black stripe marking

Anyone’s tacomaworld Google fu better than mine?
