I just got a 2 inch RC leveling kit from a friend of mine today. I was wondering if I’m going to have to grind down the factory studs on the strut to make the spacer fit flush. Going on my 2018 TRD OR. Can’t find anything about it on here.

Rough Country is rather taboo in here to even talk about

This guy? Why would you think you need to grind down the studs? I think you'd be fine. Most guys around here reeaaally don't like spacer lifts though.

Lift blocks and spacer lifts are treated like the plague around these parts.

Looking at the comments and pics at the Rough Country link it seems to just clear the stud/nut. None of the comments mentioned it being an issue.

You risk some premature ball joint failure with a spacer lift/level, but other than that I think you'll be fine.

Gotcha. +1 for reading the instructions. I'm not aware of anyone around here using spacers on a 3rd gen and having to grind to make it fit. I think you'll be okay.

Let me know how she rides once you get em installed!

I’m well aware of what is said about spacer lifts. This is my 3rd Tacoma, the previous two had Bilstein lifts, but that is not in the funds right now and prob won’t be for a while. I just want something to make it level for now. I’ve ran spacer lifts before with zero issues. I dont Off-road either.
