Repost: Help finding a good mechanic in New York ...

Hi folks. Still doing a little research on what I would like to do to my truck as a next step (or steps). But since everyone here has been so helpful, I wanted to pass this along as a local New York area resource. I found these folks after hours of "the Google":

I drove over there a few weeks ago and have to say they were very nice people. Looked at my current set up, checked it out, poked around a bit and then had a great discussion about some of the big / practical / reasonably cost effective things we could look to add to the truck, including new tires (eventually), a bumper, a winch and some additional lighting.

Overall, really good vibe and I will definitely work with them on my next steps.

Just wanted to pass that along as a future resource for folks in our area.

 

Late to the party also but Wally’s Super Service in Mahopac is great. Wally is an amazing mechanic. Can do or fabricate anything.
