    Well, mostly home-projects!

But I also picked up a '96 FZJ80 with e-lockers to play with...

This rig is currently having fun in the mountains of western CO and ID. I'm really glad the new owner is enjoying her!

I've wanted a diesel Toyota for as long as I can remember. I see them every year when the wife and I travel abroad. She is from the Philippines, so we see them everywhere over there, and I drool over them the whole time. I've always wanted to do a swap, but have been intimidated by the wiring aspect of it. However, I think I'm going to attempt to put one of these engines in a Jeep Wrangler JK with a manual transmission. Yes, they now offer a diesel in a Jeep here in the States, but unfortunately, they only offer it in a 4 door automatic. I've just got to have a manual shift. I may end up wasting a ton of money, but big rewards come with big risks. Anyway, I was super interested in your thread, so I went through and read the whole thing. You've done a fantastic job, and I wish I had half of the computer/electronic/wiring knowledge that you have. I knew you were lightyears ahead of me when I saw your C.A.D. diagram of the exhaust plate. Anyway, I'm thoroughly impressed. Thanks for sharing!

    Hello
    95 I am starting a 1KZ-TE diesel swap in a Jeep wrangler.
I have a few questions about your swap.
looking at the wiring diagrams, does yours have an anti theft computer? did the stock tacoma interface with the new ECM?
What do you use to read the OBD? , as i understand the JDM engines use a different protocol.
    Thanks

How did you get this build to be EPA compliant?

Dang, you took down the video! I loved watching that thing idle and climb. I know you sold it a long time ago, though.

Contemplating doing the same conversion since we're parting this one out.
Depending on interest of a drivetrain package sale locally. I live in BC Canada.
