Thanks brother! Season opens 9/8, I teamed up with Crossbow Nation and did some reviews/shootout with them:

    Best of luck this season!

In 20k when that rough country lift is wearing out do yourself a favor and get a toytec lift. It will hold up better. I've had a few rough country lifts and they have not held up very well to Colorado trails.

Over 20K miles ago we installed a Rough Country 6 inch lift with the Rough Country N2.0 struts in a 2013 regular cab, no issues, that is why I went with the Rough Country lift too!

That's likely because your in Jersey and dont have the same type of trails as Colorado. If it holds up out there then sweet. Colorado is a bit more brutal than Jersey I know I've been to both

I had the ToyTec BOSS lift, struts blew out here in NJ, guess what the warranty was?

Sorry to hear that I had a truck with a toytec kit and it held up great against the Colorado trails. Maybe the difference is the rough country lifts were on chevy s10s... which are... lesser trucks.

IDK, if you say Colorado trails are so much harder on suspension components than Jersey, my ToyTec BOSS struts should not have failed! But the thing is that it was not one strut, both started leaking oil at the same time and they were in the truck for only a little over 2 years! I didn't know they had a 1 year warranty, they were going to help me out with a special price, think it was around $600 to replace. Rough Country has a lifetime replacement warranty and on the install of the Rough Country lift, their customer service was excellent.

I have to say, the ride with the Rough Country 6 inch lift, RC N2.0 struts, ICON Alpha wheels and Nitto Ridge Grapplers is very smooth and quiet!!! I thought the Rough Country 6 inch with the Mickey Thompson MTZ P3's were smooth and quiet on the other Tacoma we built, with the Ridge Grapplers it is like night and day, these Ridge Grapplers are awesome and they look so aggressive with the sidewall tread. The pictures don't do the ICON's justice, the gunmetal finish looks amazing in the sun!

Did you have to chop the cab mount with a 6" lift and 34" tires?

Thank you! I am thinking about painting the badging gunmetal to match the ICON Alpha wheels.

Looks nice! Add an ax and ladder and you have an off road fire truck.
