Main front lamps are turn signals and running lamps??

Hello All,
I just bought a 2012 Tacoma TRD and the center yellow lights are ALWAYS on when the engine is running, and act as my turn signals.. They are on even when I have the factory light switch turned off when the vehicle is running. They're acting like running lights, but they stay on even when the lighta are turned off. There have been some after market lights added to the vehicle that have individual switches and arent controlled by the factory light switch. Any idea whats going on? I only want them on when I turn the lights on and/or to act as turn signals.

They are like running lights and stay on. I would search the threads and see if anyone has an idea, but i don’t know of anyway to turn them off. My truck is the same.

 

I stopped by a dealership service dept. and the rep said it's not correct they're doing this. I'll post a pic soon. They get VERY hot and this can't be normal that they stay on even when my headlight switch is turned off because they're main lamps. Unless there's some mod that does this I think whoever did some of the aftermarket lights might have crossed a wire somewhere

 

You can see the amber lights on..rest are off..and theyre hot.

 

Yea they are DRL

 

That is the DRL position. But my stalk (on my 13) allows them to be manually controlled.

What does your owers manual say about DRLs?
