I’m still new here , but need some help and advice !!!
I have a 2017 SR5 Tacoma Double Cab , Long Bed with 16 inch wheels on it and was thinking to get 17 Inch TRD Pro Wheels . Do I need to do any kind of lifting , spacer or whatever to fit them on the body of mine SR5 ??? Does the body will be to low and the tires will not fit in , turning problems ??? Please help and advice !!! Thank you !!!

The wheels will work. What size tires are you thinking about?

Are you talking about OEM 4Runner TRD Pro wheels? Others have successfully mounted those with 265/70/17’s and reported no rubbing. You can find those testimonials in various threads on this site for confirmation.

They will fit fine with a 265/70/17 tire. No lift needed

You should not have any problems, a lot of people run them. 265/70 - 17’s are the largest stock tire. Some people report good results with 255/80 17’s

Go to Forums: “Wheels and Tires”. Many options discussed there.

I’ll go with 265/70/17 and hopefully will fit just perfectly with no rubbing !!!
For my kind of driving and not off-roading almost at all I’ll go with
    Falken Wildpeak A/T3W
Do you run 17s on your SR5 ?

Can you post a picture just to see how it looks, did you remove the mud flaps as well ?

Yes, remove the mud flaps. At least the front ones - they will cause a slight bit of rubbing.

    Awesome Rig sir !!!
Mine is just SR5 and I think it’s just an inch lower than any TRD model or so , that was my concern if the wheels and 265/70/17 will fit without rubbing !

I'm running the 17" TRD wheels with 275/70/17 Cooper ST Maxx, removed mudflaps but fronts still slightly touch the inner wheel area when compressed and turning, very minor but noticeable.
