Another thread for a lazy Sunday. Is there a routine maintance you really dislike? Oil changes?, there're almost fun. Filters? Can do them blind folded. But just lubed the drive train and every time that has got to be a pain in the a$$.

Changing plugs in my Go Fast car !!, takes 45min on a good day to do one side . I've got to use a offset box end , one that'll fit the plug itself and one that'll fit the socket . A standard wrench that'll fit the plug and one that'll fit the socket . out of the (8) cyls I can use a normal socket and ratchet on one plug !!
I used to index the plugs to get the ground strap to face downward into ea cyl , that was another time consuming headache !!!!

Having to drop the skid plate to jack the stupid thing up. Lubing the driveshaft. Wandering if I'll strip the stupid front diff plugs. I like having a clean interior, but I hate vacuuming. Oil filter change on the 22re and 3rz. Checking the pressure in the spare when I put it away upside down last time. Those are the ones that bug me the most.

Not necessarily maintenance, but hunting down squeaks and weird noises when they occur is a PITA.

THIS ^^ been my life lately. One pops up, then another...take care of one then another 2 pop up. Think you've taken care of the first one then it comes back. Never ending story lol.

I learn to live with most of the odd sounds but what gets me is when someone rides shotgun and goes "geez what's that noise?"

"SHE'S FINE GODDAMNIT DON'T YOU WORRY ABOUT IT"

Do you have an aftermarket skid or stock? I just put the floor jack right under my Budbilt skid (where the crossmember is) and jack it up from there, works well.

I do hate having to take that skid off though to do my oil changes...technically I don't have to (it has a small drain hole) but the oil still gets all over the skid if I keep it on and then gets all over the driveway and wherever else I park for the next few days. Much cleaner to just take it off but it's a pain to put back on correctly.

Oh yeah definitely...even my 3/16" steel skid sometimes sketches me out a little when I jack underneath it, gotta make sure it's right under the cross member.
