So, I have a 2007 Tacoma that is stuck in park. I have replaced the brake light switch behind the brake pedal and no bueno... I can shift into gear if I press the shift lock override button but as soon as I do that, I blow the 10amp IG1 fuse which controls AC/ turn signals and back up lights. My dealer tells me that the shift lock solenoid is bad but I have a hard time believing that if it were bad, it would blow a fuse.
    Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks,
I think that’s what I’m probably going to have to do...
