Just bought a 1995 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 and figured this forum would be a good resource for the duration of my ownership.

I paid 6000 for a black taco which appears to be in pretty good shape. The paint has some chips here and there but there is minimal to no rust and everything works. No aftermarket modifications and interestingly it only has 79,000 miles.

Did I get a good deal?

I'll get some pics of the frame later but it looks rust free to me.
My bike is in there cause I had to ride my bike out to meet the dude then I loaded my bike in the back and drove it home.
Truck is from NC and according to the owner the previous 2 owners owned it in NC.

Nice looking rig right there. I would say you did very well as long as the frames good.
    Have fun with it !!!

This is what the frame rails look like. They definitely have so kind of coating on them but I beat on them with a hammer all over the place and they are solid so I'm reasonably sure there is no crazy rust underneath.

That color scheme looks great. Black & Grey can never go wrong.
