Is the factory Subaru swap a good one? I'm not really an audiophile.

The machined in trigger guard is fairly new(maybe a year). I really shouldn't have bought the AR10 builder set, but I just couldn't pass up the price It'll sit on the shelf for a while before I start to build it(unless I find a deal that I can't pass up ). I still need to get my SBR and suppressor tax stamp filled out. After that, all that will be needed for the 300 will be rail, optics, and Elftmann 3-gun trigger.

We even have a property we could be living at for next to nothing in a very nice section of Pepperell. But unfortunately I have more guns than I do boxers in my underwear drawer, and that drawer is half stocked itself.

 

Haha I think it's something like the average household has 7 firearms. NH is a constitutional carry state, and even before they had to have a good reason to deny you a CCW.

We aren't constitutional carry, but we are a "shall issue" state. Which means pass the background check and you're good.

We have two highways in NH. i93 to get your booze right on the interstate, and rt101 which has a mfg plant for most firearms mfgs, ammo plants and optic mfgs. Haha.

Nope, we all head up there to buy cheap booze and avoid sales tax...

Maine - The towns are on the coast and the other 80% of the state is woods , Mills, and logging. Fantastic if you like the outdoors. Wages are a bit less but it's amazing country up there. The top left 1/4 is basically uninhabited. Just hunting, fishing, logging and camps.

VT - a bit different. It can be liberal. But not as bad when you visit as it seems on Tv. They keep to themselves for the most part. They tollorate tourists. They also don't care about guns at all. But they don't crack off ammo cans like we do in NH. Too much other stuff to do. Tons of Forrest and Forrest roads.

NH- as Bill said .We are MA shopping center to avoid taxes. Mass also owns our huge vacation lakes region, ski camps, and high end property because MA usually makes more money, although has a high cost of living and taxes. But we have fire arms, way wayyy less Dems. And we love our guns. You enter our state and you'll be welcomed by a huge sign that says " NH - the live free or die state".

MA- basically houses our sports teams. I hear they're trying to ban kids water guns. Kids at schools need to be called flowers by their teachers to not offend anyone due to gender roles. They have cities like Methuen, Worcester ( go ahead an pronounce that...) Haha I'll let Bill explain MA. They certainly have the better of a lot of things, but for some people it's at a price.

Anything south of Manchester is basically northern MA; and the real estate is starting to catch up with MA prices.
MA has some of the best hospitals and schools in the country but try finding a decent 1br apt within 128 for under $1500/mo.
The town next to mine (where the Boston Marathon starts) median home price is currently $680k. My town is like $525k.
To put it in perspective, the piece of land my house is built on was bought 35 years ago for like 30k and my in-laws built on it. Property tax is through the roof, excise tax on vehicles is absurd, everything has a fee, etc, etc.

but we also have the cape, Nantucket and the vineyard; miles of beautiful coastline.
