10 days in Hawaii, then headed up to Santa Clara by car when we land. We'll be hitting Almanac, Rare Barrel, and Russian River in one day. Maybe that @nDub guy will come and join for a beer

 

That's inspiring. Throw in some meeting rooms and I'd be wanting to go there for every work related conference.

 

My cousin lives in Columbus,OH.and i told him to go check it out.

Unfortunately all three of those brewery’s are 2.5+ hours from me... and now that I’m coaching two of my kids soccer teams I don’t have a spare minute.

Dustbowl in Turlock in the otherhand is only an hour. Also great beer!

Also if you’re going to Santa Rosa, Fogbelt brewery is really good and they’re right up the road from Russian River.

 

Boooo. Russian River is about 1.5 hours from her dads house. I think we're going to hit Russian River first, and then Almanac, and then Rare Barrel. We'll see how much time we have. Her dads place is like 2 miles from Levi stadium - if that gives you any insight as to where we will be staying.

Yeah my brother lives right near there. I live in the Sierras near Yosemite, so a few hours east of there unfortunately (in this case, fortunately because I don’t have to live in the Bay Area).

 

It most definitely is NOT one of those trips. We're going up because the Lions (my team) will be playing the 49ers (her team) and it's the only time the Lions will be in California this year. So we figured we'd make the trip up there to visit her family and friends and catch the game... And get delicious beer

My wife’s mom got me this kit years ago, never made it. Wanted to the other day and the ingredients it came with were expired so I bought an ipa refill and finally made it.

 

Cherry Street Brewing took their DDH IPA Irie Hop and took it one step further...

One Giant Leap Triple IPA... 10% and very easy drinking!

 

I think my sister bought me the same kit a long while back... I never made it either lol!

 

#3 from our trip a couple weekends ago... I can’t believe I haven’t finished all of these yet!

Scream IIPA (Thumbprint). The smoothest 9% beer I’ve ever had!

A buddy of mine was up in the San Francisco,CA.area and brought a few of these back for me.Pretty damn good for a “Imperial”for a brewing establishment that i don’t follow or am aware of up north of CA.
