For the past month or two, I've had a rattle coming from underside of the truck. Sounds like it is on the right side, and possibly more to rear.

Sounds metal on metal, and almost like a loose heat shield, but the heat shields are so flimsy, and the rattle is more considerably more substantial than that.

It is getting quite loud. It only seems to happen when I am making a right turn, give it a little gas, then let off the gas. Happens consistently when exiting the parking garage at work and making a half dozen right turns in the garage.

I was under the truck for a good half hour yesterday checking every heat shield and metal on metal location. I cannot find it. Almost wonder if a baffle could be loose inside the muffler? I've checked (and zip tied) the chain for the spare (and it's not that type of sound anyway).

Sounds like a rapid vibration of the front rotor dust shield would make if it was bent / misaligned / vibrating metal on metal. But that does not seem to be it.

I can't replicate it by hitting and letting off the gas either in park, or while stopped and in drive. Only seems to happen during slow right turns, and just as I let off the gas.

I thought it might of been the metal shield for the inverter (between the bed and body panel) as it was loose, but shimmed it up, and today I still have the noise.

Does not happen at any other time. Not while driving on bumpy roads, or while doing the same thing and turning left. WTF. I'm stumped.

Don't have a go-pro to throw under there, but will try to get audio of it from the phone when I leave work.

Any ideas? Hoping someone else may have come across this and save myself a lot more hassle.

Front-right body mount..? Sounds like the "on/off" the gas would make body move up/down....

    Common issue with these Tacos..!

Replaced those with the energy suspension kit with about 5k on the truck when I was installing the C4 bumper and winch. But, still maybe a possibility? Just went down and looked to make sure I didn't lose a nut or something, and all still seems tight. But will take a closer look this weekend.

The skid was another thought, but that's tight as well. I may have to pull the skid and spare this weekend just to rule those out 100%. It may have popped up about the time I got my oil changed?

Here's a quick video of the noise. Not too loud on this one, but its there. Right at 5 second mark.

Often louder than that, but that is the sound.
