Hey all, I’ve noticed my ‘18 takes longer to crank than others and if I leave my radio on with the motor off for a short period of time (5 minutes!) I get a red charging system warning on my dash which goes away if I start the truck. Anyone else with weak batteries or long cranking from the get-go?

Is the key in the ON position with the engine off? Try putting it in just ACC.

I know that in a tacoma with a push button, when in the truck is "ON" (two button presses with no foot on the brake) that warning will come on, but not when in Accesory Mode (one button press no brake). I assume its the same for an SR5 with a key.
