    Haven't been on much lately, been busy as hell at work. We were camping un in NY this past weekend and while we were unpacking some gear I noticed water in the front storage compartment of my camper. Some further investigation revealed that the water appears to be coming in through the roof seam (which I had planned on resealing in the spring) but also appears to have been an issue for the previous owner because the whole area is slathered with Dicor. Now comes the hard part... I still owe ~$7k on this thing and it's not anything that insurance will cover (I'm guessing, they're going to look at it Thursday), so I get to tear it apart, clean it up, pray that the wood isn't too far gone, and put it all back together properly. If the wood has too much damage (based on the sponginess of the paneling I fear this is the case), I'm looking at replacing a good chunk of the front wall and possibly part of the side as well.

    Let this be a lesson for you other camper folks, check the seals, corner molding and roof regularly, I've been reading that they should be resealed every 3 years or so too.

    8.5 Fisher XV2, some switches, some lights.
    That sucks. On the one hand, though, the wood for the framing is usually a lot more water (and therefore rot) resistant than the crappy pressboard paneling could ever be, so you might get lucky and the frame will still be in good shape.
