For the record: my response was not bc I thought you were bashing anyone/had ill-intent. I posted what I did to try and get ahead of the ppl coming in to bash the company. I probably shouldn’t care one way or another haha, just no reason for others to hate a company over something that no one knows exactly what’s going on. I have no doubt you had a genuine concern as to what was going on

Never ordered from them but they always seemed like one of the best vendors on here based on customer service and their active involvement with the offroad scene and social media.

Not to further promote any rumors (that's a lie I guess) but I wonder if this is like what happened with AllPro....everything was fine and dandy until one day Trail Gear came along and bought them out and the company as everyone knew it went up in smoke

Whatever the case may be, hopefully the 1st gen guys that pre-ordered their 1st gen bumpers months ago get what they paid for, or refunded.

No need to delete it.. It's a valid question. OP wants a product and is wondering where the company is.. I'd want to be able to know that my questions will be answered and product delivered too.

Not sure why this thread or any other vendor related thread needs to be locked.
Most threads to do with vendors merely have members expressing they’re concerns or grievances with a particular vender.
If the thread is negative, Mod's might want to look into what the concerns are.
But vendors pay to have vendor status on forums and sometimes that seems to trump members concerns and or grievances .
This thread is obviously just concern for the vendor .

Greetings everyone. I had a chance to catch up with the Pelfreys earlier and there are some organizational changes happening within Pelfreybilt. There will be an official announcement later this week. I'm asking if everyone would please be patient for just a couple more days and we'll re-open the thread with the news. For those of you with pending orders or looking to make new orders, don't fret. Everything will make sense in just a couple days.

    Thanks

    ***Pelfreybilt Information Release***

The leadership and advisors of Pelfreybilt are in active discussions with potential investors to secure funding for the near future to continue business operations. Our intention is to "right the ship" within the next 45 days and begin taking new contracts to build cash flow; however, these plans are entirely contingent on the outcome of these discussions. We will release another statement after the Labor Day weekend when we have a clearer picture of the negotiations.

    Thank you for your patience.

Earlier Facebook post from Satin. Tyler and I are going through some pretty rough stuff personally so I temporarily stepped away from FB to focus.

Business is going through some changes but we’ll be able to update everyone in the next few weeks

    Appreciate your prayers and support

Sounds to me like they're having cashflow issues.

It sounds like they've been getting orders like crazy....but it also sounds like they have cashflow issues. Those two things don't usually go together.

That’s what insolvency is. An inability to pay the bills.

Something doesn’t add up here. Prior to this I have never heard about thing about Pelfrey so I hope they can work this out. They seem to put a lot of thought and quality into their work, sucks they didn’t catch this before it became a big enough problem to shut the doors even if just temporarily.

The earlier FB post mentioned by @brucehutchinson makes me think there's a pending separation of assets.
If the business entity is tied to both husband and wife, things get complicated...
Hope this is not the case, and everything gets worked out.

And away go the credit / PayPal disputes. They answered the phone to take money for a group buy order change on last Friday for me knowing that this was going to happen. I know a lot of people are personal friends with this company, but that is fraudulent business practice right there.

Even worse for the guys that preordered their new bumper.

If mods find this unreasonable, sorry. Feel free to edit / whatever. But this smells funny.

Have they actually done anything wrong other than not answer the phone for 1 potential customer?
