I used the third generation of Toyota Tacoma I purchased the car from the United States, but I have seen under the bonnet that the recommended oil from the factory is 0W20 and the heat in my summer is at 114 ° F and for this reason I used the Toyota 5w30 oil does it damage the engine or Should I use 0w20?

Australia Toyota allows anything from 5W-30 to 20W-50 in the 2GR-FKS V6.

El Paso heat and the mountains, I run 5w 30. Gas mileage hasn't changed. Trunk runs the same. They run thicker shit in Australia.
