Looking at TYGER products page...I was GOOD TO GO for this one until I read this off their page... Anyone with experience to say otherwise with one installed, or like it on a Tacoma with backup sensors and camera?

Only fits on 2" hitch receiver (May interfere with backup sensor if equipped)

Dunno if it just me or not, but I don't see any links or pics so I have no way to know what you are asking about.

lots of people run things in their hitch w/ no problems

I have had a step, a trailer hitch / ball, and a recovery hitch and shackle and never had an issue w/ it interfering w/ backup sensors

Looks like the outer edges will be in line with the end of the current step edges. I think the inner sensors will fall a couple inches farther out than the outer edges. I would think sensors will be fine, though I can not make any promise, and that remark is more of a CYA disclaimer to prevent possible claims than expected functional reality.

Order it from someplace that will allow returns with little to no hassle and give it a shot.

Fair enough, that works for me...Even if folks did not have this exact one, I was curious if anyone ran into this issue with other ones.

POINT.... happens all the time and in an empty parking lot tonight he pulls right in behind me, so close you can read my plate in his grill... Also the step itself is fantastic compared to the tiny slip behind the license plate to step up on.

    Ha! Love it.

How's the quality? I installed a Tyger roll up bed cover on my tacoma the first week I owned it. Cant beat the quality for 200 bones shipped.

Very well made, and the anti-rattle bar locks it in there with ZERO noise on rough roads and solid as a rock to stand on. I'm going to check out their bed cover, nice to hear it's been solid too.
