My boring answer is the Astros but my darkhorse is the Phillies. I do not think there is a "clear cut favorite" though.

    Edit: Ohtani is amazing!

I'm pretty sure . . . The A's. Yup gonna be another Beane'er Fall Ball Blister Blaster via the Wild Card route.

My Royals have exactly the opposite record of the Red Sox and may end up with the worst record in Royals history. They are getting better though. I mean when you can only go up, eventually you get better by osmosis or something?

    Playoff season is here.

Rox are playing for the Wild Card today. Pretty much the only compelling baseball is in the National League. You have certain teams beating up on the sandbaggers in the AL.

...and Machado got his comeuppance...last strikeout of the series. Poetic justice.

As a Cub fan, I was wanting to pick up Machado in the offseason, not any longer. Joe Buck is an example of nepotism gone wrong.

I was bagging on Puig for his nonsense last year. Though he had plenty of issues in Baltimore too, it almost appeared like Machado felt the need to out lowlife Puig.

Boston definitely had the last laugh in game four. Puig needs to save that crap for walk offs.

My dodgers fan best friend was such an arrogant homer fan for all his teams(Lakers Cowboys fan also). He thinks every year they are the best teams going to win it all. As a yankee fan it killed me to root for the Red Sox but I just couldn’t live with him getting to brag about the dodgers. Machado is a giant douche bag an I really hope the Yankees don’t sign him. I’d rather them go and get some damn pitching.

I was telling folks, maybe here too, that back in like May when they beat my Royals 21-7 in 3 games, they just looked unbeatable to me. I wonder what the odds would have been on a bet back then? Of course, I can't win a GD coin flip but I can pick the eventual WS winner in May?

Surprised nobody is talking about Roberts decision to remove the picture when you're up four runs in a pivotal game 4 ?

Dodgers win that game who knows what happens?

Bring back Kirk Gibson ( to the LA coaching staff) maybe that 1988 spirit will follow. Blue crew needs thier mojo back.

Roberts made some really questionable calls. Like bringing in Madsen. :annoyed: I thought Hill still had an inning left in him.

I'll never forget that Gibson homerun. :yay:

Roberts managed his pitching staff bad that series. He did however make good choice with pinch hitters and subs. The thing I really didn’t like was sitting Bellinger and Muncy the first two games. That’s a lot of home runs sitting on the bench for at least two at bats per game.
