Hey all, first post here, been lurking around for awhile. Read way to many threads I care to admit, a lot of great insight on here.

With that said, I can't seem to find any pictures/verification of the 16inch Ray 10s on the stock tires, everyone seems to run 265/75/16. I want to do this eventually, but new truck, so looking to get some use out of the rubber before i bail and get the larger tire.

My understanding is stock OR is 16x7, and ray 10s are 16x8, will that cause issue? And does anyone have any pictures showing stock rubber on ray10s!

Thanks in advance, fingers crossed I didn't miss a a thread in the search lol.

Just bumping this for some help.

Found a few posts that were related, saw some concern over rubbing with ray 10s and stock tires? Would be surprised the backspacking/offset would be that severe to cause issue. But I’m no expert!

You’ll be fine. I ran stock tires on 16x8 0 offset with plenty of room. That -12 is half an inch further out and you should be fine.

If you have a front splitter it may need to be removed. Mud flaps may need to be removed.

    Otherwise you will be fine.

    Thanks @commbubba19

Sounds like some easy fixes worst case scenario.

@VADER Running ray 10s on stock size currently. It may rub ever so slightly in reverse going around a corner, but that's about it. You'll be fine.

Thanks for reply! Do you happen to have a picture? Curious how the wheels look with the stock rubber, sure it looks good, but all the pictures I ever find are Ray 10s with the 265/75/16s.

If you ever lift it, the factory meats look kinda small.

@Gunshot-6A thanks for the pictures. Still looks good, and love that dark bronze, that's what i'm leaning towards for my cement taco, seen a few pictures floating around and looks pretty damn good.

In regards to backspacing, are wheels flush with fenders now, or poking out a bit?

They poke out just a bit. Maybe an inch at the most.

Hey, @Gunshot-6A, sorry to restart this thread up, but one last question for you. What tires are you running with the Ray 10s, i know it's factory sizing, but I see you have the 2015, just curious if that is the Goodyear Wrangler kevlar tires?

Cooper Discoverer RTX. Great AT tire that has dealt with deep sand, rocks, Utah snow, etc. Sidewall doesn't portray "offroad vehicle" is my only complaint about them. I run the SL grade tire at 38 pounds and is fantastic.
