Well, after seeing @Darkgoatracer Bilsteins come apart & how small the shock piston was where it came apart inside, I would never have those in my truck.

 

SO, i HIGHLY doubt this is a static rating. It would have to be dynamic, otherwise you could only carry 40ish lbs on it when moving......

You didn't list that as an option? I was only going off of what you had listed.
I had a rear 5100 blow out on me just from highway driving, so I would be hesitant to choose them again if I had a choice.

Where as I've gone airborne with 5100s and they are fine.

 

Why not Kings? Same price. Also, if you did a full leaf swap you could sell the full kit to someone pretty easily.

I went to flagpole and the place down past richmond. That was the only two times those 5100s ever saw off road with my truck.

I wanted OME shocks with the OME coils...plus, I had a good experience with the Nitros already.

 

I think that Monroe actually makes the OME Nitros...swear I read that somewhere (and on the Internet so it must be true).

 

hell, I have an extra set laying around as well.....

that makes sense... they have been specifically engineered for that shock / coil combo
