    Hi everyone,

I recently purchased a 2018 Tacoma TRD Off-road 4X4 and have a Icon Stage 2 front suspension with tubular UCA. I planned on installing that soon, but holding off on the rear suspension till have a few extra bucks. Does anybody have any experience with running a modified front suspension with the stock rear? any feedback, suggestions or advice would be truly appreciated.

    Thank you.

Adrian, thanks for the feed back. I will be running IVD 2.0 shocks and the IVD 3 leaf extension in the back. Just recieved my delta joints and have Jay over at Demello doing install in the near future. Any deals going on the UCA caps?

You don't need caps with delta joints! Even if they fit, don't waste your money

We have our Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale come up in November if you do mind holding off.
@hx989 is correct, the caps are purely cosmetic for Delta Joint UCA's.

Sort of related questions... I had a leveling kit (3" front and 1" back block I think). Didn't like the ride, just felt like the truck was never planted on dirt/washboard trails. It bounced a ton, and on rocky trails (nothing at all extreme) felt "bad" (hard to explain). If I went over pavement bumps it would be very jolting. Tons of rattling at the time. As a result, I am getting an Icon Stage 2 put on as I type. I've heard it's really stiff on the road which is fine, but can anyone describe how it should act off road on not extreme rocky roads. I live in Utah, but you won't see me doing anything hardcore at Moab. Mostly it's just washboard/rocky roads to go to camp spots etc. (I'm from back east so the red rock is too intimidating). Also, I didn't replace the UCAs--still running stock. Hopefully that's not an issue. I don't hardcore off-road at all. I am running BFG KO2s 285/70/17, and they fit with the leveling kit and stock UCAs. When I got the alignment done after the leveling kit, the alignment shop was able to get everything aligned perfectly, and there were no issues there. Should I be okay? Just want people's general thoughts on what to expect on and off road with the new set up and with running stock UCAs. Not sure if this is the right post to put this on, so may re-post somewhere else too... Thanks
