Sprayed some Krown on my Dakar’s ( rust prevention) vacuumed under hood behind hinges where debris gathers . Lubed hood hinges and doors . Sprayed Krown on the inside of my Body Armor rear bumper.

 

Went with the billsteins and toytec coils to go with the camburgs. Just go back from alignment. Rides great!

Did you lube the LCA pivots while you were at it?

I switched to synthetic in my diffs, can synthetic be switched back to regular oil? I’ve always read once you switch there is no going back.....thoughts?

 

I don't see why not. The little bit of synthetic left might not completely mix with the dino but you will still have oil on your gears and the 2nd time you change it I would think it would be mostly flushed.

 

I washed, clay bared, and waxed (synthetic) the truck today!

Found a cool mural driving to the pharmacy. Naturally, the "IG Taco Fuckboi" part of me came out

Started running short on Noico so used it sparingly. All about driver's comforts amirite!?

Have about a 1/2 of a sheet left, ill use the remainder on the door skins.




Two days of drying and checking for moisture on the carpet floor to prevent that mildew.




Everything went back together swimingly except I may have stripped one bolt. Not an important one mind you.

Plans to add some sort of Mass Loaded Vinyl (MLV) when the funds allow it. For now I'll roll with this and keep everyone updated.

Pre-deadening:

Highway travelling (approx 100-120 km/hr) an hour averaging 56 DB with Windows up. Low 35 DB (probably at an idle) 80 DB with Windows down.



Tommorrow will be testing the after results.

In city driving is so quiet now. Highway is a bit better but not luxury car quality. Happy with the results

Unifilter mod and cleaned up my engine bay with foaming degreaser. Then I cut on my truck for an hour getting the insain body mount chop all ready to weld in. Phone was dead so no pics.

 

Duh. Does your truck not have a designated hot dog holder?

 

Now you have to mount a 12v heating element to keep your hotdog warm.
